Krakow Tour - June 2025

Our trip to Krakow was fantastic!
The information package pre-travel was invaluable, containing everything we could need. On arrival in Krakow we were met by
Kristyna,our local guide who was superb. A fluent English speaker, she was with us every step of the way, ensuring all our travels were stress free and on time.
Thanks to her expertise we learned a lot along the way- not just helpful hints on how to navigate transport & shopping in the city but also much about the history & culture of this beautiful city and its people. The Museums ( world class) & Churches Con & I visited on our own were memorable.
Our hotel( Ander’s Vienna House) was very comfortable & well located. Breakfasts were excellent & food generally of very good quality. I would highly recommend it if asked.
All our tours were extremely well organised and hugely impressive. I had been to Auschwitz years ago but had missed out on the Saltmines, an extraordinary place. The André Rieu Concert was a first for us and again, faultless.
Even the weather behaved and was far better than had been forecast. How ever did you manage that??
If this review sounds utterly over the top, that’s too bad- I make no apologies. I actually rang Debbie on our return to say how happy we were.
So thanks again and I look forward to more of the same in the near future.

Andre Rieu in Berlin - March 2026
Hi Debbie - just a note to thank you for all your work & assistance on the above last week. It was a great trip
Our Guide was excellent (she really pulled out the stops ); tours were very good & our concert seats terrific.
In fact, Debbie, it was all terrific - except for Berlin Airport , which is something beyond your control. The airport authority ban coaches from going anywhere near Departures/Arrivals. This means you have to walk a LONG distance from Arrivals Hall to your transport ( unless getting taxi). The Airport Assist ended at Arrivals - luckily the Guide told Frankie to stay in wheelchair & she very kindly pushed her to the coach.
For our return journey, 2 additional members of our group requested Assist & our Guide made all the necessary arrangements, in advance, & rechecked & confirmed on the day. Unfortunately- no one turned up & despite Guides stalwart efforts, we eventually made our (long) way to the Terminal & “stole” wheelchairs ourselves & between us managed to get the 3 wheelchair passengers & cases to Departure Gates in time for boarding!
As I said, Debbie, this all seems a Berlin Airport problem & I really can’t suggest anything you can do about it. If you alert prospective visitors to the problem, they may not travel & miss out on this, otherwise, great experience. But it was nothing short of a disgrace.
I should also say the Airport Assist in Dublin was superb.
Again - thanks for everything. I just thought you should be aware of the Berlin Airport problem

Hi Tiffany. I enjoyed the Dresden trip enormously. Everything went like clockwork, our guide Carola was excellent - friendly, sociable, couldn’t do enough for us and she contributed hugely to the success of the holiday. My only small criticism was one dinner when we were offered a choice between pike and carp! We settled for chicken. Dresden was a revelation and Carole’s knowledge of its history and architecture was really extensive. The group was great and I would certainly recommend the trip to anyone interested in opera and city holidays. I hope to travel with you soon again.

The hotel, the Opera and other activities were all very well organised and our tour guide was really good.
We enjoyed the Opera very much and our seats were exceptional (Charles & Camilla turning up was a bonus).

She looked after all of us from arrival to departure with efficiently and kindness all the time, I couldn’t praise her highly enough.
