See the wonderful Andrea Bocelli live in concert in Prague in May 2022. Prague offers a breathtaking array of architectural styles with buildings that have been home to Kafka, Mozart, Einstein, Smetana and Dvoràk and provides a magical atmosphere for this concert tour.  Prague offers palaces, castles and churches in abundance.  Walk the city’s charming, long-forgotten lanes in the Old Town, visit Prague Castle with its stunning views over the city. The tour highlight is a concert performance by Andrea Bocelli on 17 May 2022 in Prague’s O2 Arena. 


Day 1

Your tour will start with a flight to Prague. Flights are with Ryanair. Flight departs Dublin at 11:30 and arrives in Prague at 14:55 (please note that flights are subject to change at the airline’s discretion).

On arrival in Prague, meet your local guide and transfer to the 4*+ Jalta Hotel where you are booked for four-nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

The 4* Jalta hotel is superbly located boutique hotel located on Wenceslas Square and offering views of the National Museum. The Jalta Hotel was built in 1958 and is classified as a national cultural monument under UNESCO. The hotel combines modern comforts with a sense of heritage. It offers the perfect environment in which to relax on your short. Prague’s many sights and attractions are within easy walking distance.

Day 2

This morning we have a guided orientation of Prague city via coach and on foot of approximate 3.5 hours duration.

Our Prague City tour is a superb introduction to the city of Prague, a city known for its rich opulent beauty and epic history. Meet your local guide in hotel lobby and set off to learn about the history of Prague. The coach tour will introduce you to the major historical areas of Prague with Wenceslas Square at its heart, where the State Opera and National Museum look down on. Next, you will drive up to Prague Castle to discover the major sights within. Please do be aware that this is a very popular time for visit to Prague and there can be a queue into the castle district, this does however usually move quickly. Our guide will guide bring to life the magnificent buildings in the Castle district and explaining their turbulent history, and royal connections. Admire the grandeur of Saint Vitus Cathedral (from the exterior) and from here, your guide will walk you down to the Vltava River, beginning with a flight of steps (the steps are lengthy, but wide and deep, and so fairly easy to walk down). The walk will take you across the city's most well-known historic attraction, the stunning Charles Bridge, which offers wonderful panoramic views of the city. The walk will take you through the fascinating Jewish Quarter, finishing in the Old Town. For refreshments, there is a short break half way through the tour.

Please note that sightseeing tour is part by coach and part on foot as some of the most historic areas of Prague are only accessible on foot. This tour will not be suitable for those who have difficulty walking.

The afternoon is free for you to relax or further explore Prague. Why not visit the National Museum located at the top of Wenceslas Square, the largest museum in the Czech Republic or simply take a seat at one of Prague’s many cafes and watch the world go by.

Day 3

Day at leisure to explore Prague independently.

In the evening, a pre-concert three-course will be served in the hotel restaurant. At the end of dinner, coach transfer with your guide to Prague’s O2 arena for an evening of musical delight with Andrea Bocelli.

At the end of the evening, private coach transfer back to hotel.

Day at leisure to explore Prague independently.

Day 5

Flight departs Prague at 11:35 and arrives Dublin at 13:15. (please note that flights are subject to change at the airline’s discretion).

Travel Insurance

The EHIC is a European Healthcard available to all EU citizens and is recommended to carry for travel within Europe. Please check for more information. IMPORTANT: If you have purchased travel insurance with IFC. If you or any person travelling has a pre-existing medical condition then you must declare that condition to Health Check.

One standard piece of hand luggage is included in your tour price. (10 kilos). Checked in luggage is available to purchase prior to travel, prices may vary. Please note this must be booked with a minimum of 14 days prior to travel. Bags booked within 14 days prior to travel will incur an administration fee of €25 per piece.

Booking Deposit Booking deposit is €150 pp. Second deposit of €150 per person due 01 September 2021. Balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure date. No credit card charge on deposit payments.

Concert tickets
Please note that concert tickets are located upstairs in sector 101, in row 6 / 7 / 8.

It is your responsibility to ensure your passport will be valid for your holiday. Please contact IFC should you have any queries regarding your passport. EU passport holders do not require a visa to travel within the EU. As a rule of thumb for European travel your passport should be valid until your intended date of return to Ireland. For travel outside the EU a validity of a minimum of 6 months beyond your return date is required. A visa may be needed for your holiday and information regarding this will be sent closer to travel.

Tour Activities
Please note that there is a fair amount of walking on this tour. Ours are active holidays. Walking, stair-climbing and standing around for periods are unavoidable aspects of this tour. This tour is suitable for those of a normal fitness but may not be suitable for those who need support. Walking and getting on and off a coach several times a day is part of the tour. Please note that we reserve the right to amend the timings of the tour itinerary in line with supplier requests and included excursions may take place on different days.

Please note that the visitor attractions state that customer touchpoints are frequently cleaned and that in a attempt to reduce crowds, the number of visitors is limited. Masks are required in visitor attractions and indoors and we would ask all travellers to bring their own. Temperature checks are mandatory in certain attractions.
