Prague Opera Ballet & Classical Music Holidays

Classical music performances are held in the Rudolfinim and the Municipal House.

Venues

Prague State Opera

The Prague State Opera was built in 1888 and thanks to its spacious auditorium and rich Neo-Rococo décor, the venue is one of the the most beautiful opera houses in Europe.

The National Theatre

Prague's National Theatre is a stunning neo-Renaissance building dating from 1868-83. Located opposite the Vltava River, it is recognisable by its stunning golden rooftop.

Estates Theatre

Prague’s Estates Theatre opened in 1783. It is Prague's oldest opera house and many say that it one of the most beautiful opera houses in Europe.

Rudolfinum, Dvořák Hall

Named in honour of Rudolf, Crown Prince of Austria, The Rudolfinum is one of the most important Neo-Renaissance buildings in Prague and home to the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Municipal House

Prague's most prominent Art Nouveau building is situated on the site of the former Royal Court Palace. With its Art Nouveau gold trimmings and stained glass windows, it is a popular attraction for visitors to the city.
